Who We Are
ONYX Pacific Northwest is a fraternal organization—a fellowship built on camaraderie, mentorship, and mutual support—dedicated to fostering an inclusive and affirming space for people of color interested in the leather, kink, and BDSM lifestyle. The club is not limited by gender identity; rather, it is rooted in shared values and a commitment to community.
We build spaces where education, empowerment, and exploration meet. Whether you’re new to leather or a longtime player, you’ll find fraternity, mentorship, and joy here.
Full Membership is open to individuals who
Identify as gay, bisexual, and/or trans men of color, (inclusive of their gender expression or pronouns) and have a genuine interest in leather, kink, and BDSM.
Align with ONYX Pacific Northwest’s mission and values of mutual respect, education, and community engagement.
Are comfortable being part of a fraternal organization, where members refer to each other as “brothers” or “siblings” as the default form of address.
Complete the membership process, including the pledge cycle during pledge years.
Our mission
The mission of ONYX Pacific Northwest is to:
Promote education, mentorship, and community building within the leather community.
Provide a welcoming space for people of color to explore leather identity, history, and culture.
Organize and host events to cultivate camaraderie and strengthen the local leather scene.
Support charitable and social causes related to the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, leather and kink communities.
Preserve leather history and oral traditions, ensuring the voices of people of color in the scene are heard and remembered.
